New CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ Panel & Acoustic Collection

Posted by Guilford of Maine on April 15, 2021

Guilford of Maine is proud to present its new sustainable panel & acoustics CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ collection! This new collection includes 3 beautiful acoustically transparent panel patterns: Marin, Purpose, and Resolve.

The CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ panel & acoustic collection is designed with sustainability in mind, using CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ Ocean Waste and Biodegradable* technologies.

Ocean Waste CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ tackle one of the most pressing environmental issues we face today: pollution of oceans by plastics. By partnering with the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, we transform ocean waste into amazing textiles.

Biodegradable* CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ address the daunting problem of how to deal with polyester fabric at the end of its useful life. By redesigning throwaway materials into biodegradable* textiles, we can solve the problem at its roots and help keep plastic out of our landfills.

Marin 1300

Inspired by the flow of ocean waves, Marin's all-over tonal pattern comes in a range of neutrals, from the classics to the modern softly tinted. Its broad palette of colors is also enlivened with a splash of bright and rich colors.

Made with CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ post-consumer recycled polyester with ocean waste from the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE.

Purpose 1302

Going beyond a simple fabric, Purpose disappears at the end of its life without leaving any trace. Available in both saturated accents and warm and cool neutrals, its pure and simple structural texture arises from combining thick and thin yarns.

Made with CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ 100% post-consumer recycled biodegradable* polyester.

Resolve 1301

While we cannot solve all the problems, we can help find solutions to preserve our planet for future generations. Resolve's soft textural patterning creates a surface evocative of natural landscapes while helping to protect our environment.

Made with CLEAN IMPACT TEXTILES™ 100% post-consumer recycled biodegradable* polyester.

*Rate and extent of biodegradation into elements found in nature is 91% after 1,278 days under ASTM D5511 (Anaerobic Biodegradation of Plastic Materials Under High Solids Anaerobic Digestion Conditions). The test was done with the same component (PET) polyester and biocatalyst additive. No evidence of further degradation.
